The Dress
This gorgeous designer gown (Kate) by Caroline DeVillo, known for her classic American couture, is a size 12 (street size 8). It’s flattering mermaid silhouette is fashion from dupoini silk in a creamy ivory. The dress is strapless, with a sweetheart neckline and a ruched, form-fitting bodice. Buttons run the length of the train, rather than stopping at hip line, which adds an elegant flair. The gown is draped for a French style bustle.
Except for the hips, the dress retains all it’s original measurements. The dress has not been hemmed - I am 5’7 1/2” and wore 5 inch heels. As you can see from the pictures, the buttons down the back usually end at the bustle line. I paid extra to have the buttons run down the entire length of the train. Cups were also sewn in to the bodice to offer additional support. Gown has been professionally cleaned.
