Collette Dinnigan, Silk Organza Strapless Gown - True Romance Collect

This heavenly dress was a pleasure to wear on my wedding day. The corseting is superb and the dress is feathery and light despite the full skirt. The dress is made of layers of silk organza and comes with a silk belt with ivory silk flowers and detailed silver beading.

I had alterations made to the length of the dress (at Emergency Button in Double Bay) so that the front of the dress is just above the floor when I am in heels (I am 178 cm tall and wore 8 cm high heels). There is about a 1 metre long train which could be reduced if you wished to do so. I also had 2 hidden loops inserted in the lining and skirt so that the skirt can be hitched up behind to create a bustle for ease when dancing (see attached image with the side on view of the bustle).

The dress was purchased in December 2011 and has been worn once (in March 2012). It comes with a 100% cotton Collette Dinnigan bridal gown bag and embossed storage box.

I live about 5 minutes from the city (Sydney) and am happy for interested parties to try on the dress. All reasonable offers to purchase the dress will be considered.

I wore some divine Manolo Blahniks (ivory with feathers - see attached image) which I would also be happy to sell with the dress at a reasonable price (RRP $990).
