The Dress

Purchased at a high-end bridal boutique in Charlotte, NC less than a year ago and worn for our London wedding.

I LOVE this dress. It's so flattering and the mermaid silhouette and train are truly beautiful, especially when cascading down a set of stairs. It's also incredibly light and comfortable, so much so that I didn't want to take it off at the end of the night.

If you're considering a destination wedding, this dress is perfect because it doesn't wrinkle and is easy to transport. I carried it on the plane in my arms and placed in the overhead bin. :)

Hem was shortened slightly, although I'm quite tall (5'8'') so there's plenty of length. Dress taken in along the torso and soft mold bra cups added in size B. Bustle added - which is gorgeous - with ivory colored ribbons and rings. They are completely invisible under the lace and create a gorgeous bustle at the back of the knees.

No flaws. Dress was professionally dry cleaned by the Bridal Boutique's cleaner.
