The Dress

This beautiful dress is a one off custom made gown that would suit any kind of ceremony. I loved it because it was different to anything I had ever seen, I took inspiration from a KWH skirt and I helped design the bodice with the girls there.

The lace in the bodice is French corded lace in ivory with the satin under it slightly darker shade of ivory so the lace pops out. It was hand sewn with sections placement cut to creat some scalloping along the neckline. There is a deep V in the front of the bodice (just for a point of difference ) it has been fused together with stitching and layers of the same lace. It is completely boned and very strong.. I have attached a few pics of the bodice as I think I was a really amazing feature. There is also a pic of it in construction!

The skirt has layers upon layers of soft French tulle (I think it was about 65Metres) with a train.
It has an easy do up back with an invisible zip into the skirt otherwise you cannot get into it.. the buttons are hand covered in the same lace. It has a soft ribbon around the waist to tie up at the back

The dress was worn only once and only for formalities and ceremonies.

I was approximately a size 8-10 at the time..I'm approx 175cm tall and it just touched my toes while I was in heels

It cost me just over $9500
