Chana Marelus, Laurel

The etheral Laurel gown from Chana Marelus was a dream dress for my summer Lake Como wedding. It is delicate and detailed with hand-beaded vine pattern throughout. The beading shimmers with every step, while the tulle of the dress is light and breathable. The structured corset/boning and illusion off-the-shoulder neckline ensured that everything stayed in place comfortably all night. I felt so beautiful in it and received many compliments. In fact, I loved it so much that I did not want to sell it until now that we are moving and no longer have space to store it.

It was altered from a size 4 to a size 2 and the hem was shortened to fit my height with heels (5/4'' + 3''). The measurements listed are the current ones. A semi-sheer nude lining was added so it is not as completely sheer as in the stock photos but semi-sheer under the light as you can see from my photos. I wore a nude strapless bra with it but cups can be inserted if you like.

The dress was professionally dry-cleaned right after the wedding and does not have any flaws/stains. I no longer have the original garment bag because it did not fit in our luggage back from Italy.

The dress did not come with a veil but I bought one with matching vine details as seen in the pictures for $1700. Happy to include that for free. The original price of the dress was about 9500 (pre-tax and tip) but I am listing it for $3000 hoping that it will bring another bride as much joy as it brought me.
