I bought this beautiful Elbeth Gillis dress through Ivory Thread in South Yarra (Melbourne). It was made to measure the details in this listing, but for reference I am roughly a Size 16 AU with an F cup. My only alternations were shortening the hem, shortening the straps for max support and tacking the leg split in position (roughly mid thigh).

I LOVED wearing this dress! I brought a second dress to change into for the dancefloor but I loved wearing this so much I never got changed. The bodice cinched me in so much at the waist, but was still comfortable to wear all day and night. The train wasn't too long and had a beautiful silhouette and movement for dancing.

When having the dress made, I requested a few special additions:
- The bodice was made with extra supportive boning for a big bust which meant it could be worn comfortably without a bra or any boob tape. I was told there is room in the bodice for further alterations if needed.
- The style was originally a strapless dress, but I requested detachable straps which I ended up keeping on all night, however you could easily detach the straps (with concealed buttons) and go for a strapless look like the website photo.
- The buttons down the back were included to floor length.

The dress has been professionally dry cleaned and is ready for the next bride to wear.
