Selling the dress of my dreams!
The beautiful Chiara dress from Ines Di Santo.
I wore this dress for the ceremony and cocktail hour of my wedding before changing into a reception dress.
I ordered it in a size 8 but with a size 10 bust cup (I am usually an 8-10 B/C; the 8 just felt a little narrow across the chest) and ordered it with the ivory lining (the other option was blush lining). I am usually a size 6/small 8 in clothing and the dress fit me beautifully when it arrived. The only alterations I had made was to the length of the dress (I am 164cm tall and wore 6cm heels). I know it is labelled as a size 8, but I have attached my measurements from the day of the fitting so you can see that some are smaller than a standard size 8.
The dress has been dry cleaned and is in beautiful condition. I have attached a photo of the only 'flaws' (which are very minor).
- a 4mm x 2mm tear in the mesh at one side of the bottom of the dress.
- the boning of the left side of the bust has popped out the top; this would need to be repaired
I have also attached a photo comparing the very bottom of the train (left side of photo) to the top of the dress (right side of photo) to show that there is not noticeable discolouration from wear (perhaps minor? my husband thinks I'm crazy, he doesn't see it) and that the lace is still beautiful and intact.
I paid $8500 for the dress in late 2024 which was 20% off RRP at the time.
This dress is so beautiful and has so much life left to live!
