Inspired by the iconic Berta silhouette, this gown delivers the same couture elegance at a fraction of the price. Purchased for $4100 + $1000 in alterations, it features ethereal layers of soft champagne tulle that shimmer subtly with embedded sparkles, creating the most romantic glow in photos and in person. The beaded waistline, straps, and included sleeves elevate the gown with a refined, high-end finish.

The carefully beaded train is dramatic yet unbelievably lightweight as it floats with every step. The bodice is structured, sculpting, and provides a beautiful lift. For reference, I’m a 33–34B cup and 110 lbs, and the fit was flawless without ever feeling restrictive.

Expertly tailored from a size 8 to a size 6, the gown was customized to perfection. I’m 5’6” and wore platform heels (3 ¾” heel, 1” platform) for the hem shown. The gown includes a sequin bodysuit beneath (as pictured), and I added a discreet button and one stitch to soften the slit. Both can removed if you prefer a more dramatic look.

The back features a secure zipper and interior hooks for a smooth, contoured fit. A professional bustle was added so the train lifts beautifully for walking and dancing. I sat comfortably in this dress for over an hour during dinner — it moves with you, not against you.
