I had it tailored as a size 8 and it originally had a lace-up back, which you can clearly see in the photos and video. But before the wedding day, I lost one dress size, so a zipper and buttons were added later. On the wedding day, I wore it fully zipped and buttoned as a size 6.
So if you are a size 6, you can wear it exactly as I did.
If you are a size 8, you can easily wear it with the lace-up back by crossing the ribbons, creating a comfortable open-back style.
Also, I had the dress cleaned the very next day after the wedding, without waiting at all, and it looks as fresh and spotless as new.
