I wanted a classic dress with modern silk material that covered my chest. I fell in love with the V-back, the bow, and the beautiful buttons all the way down to the end of the dress.

As for alterations, we had to shorten the dress. I'm 5'4" and wore 3-inch heels. We also had the sleeve straps taken in and a french-style bustle added.

The dress has been cleaned and preserved in a sealed acid-free box, so you will be getting it in pristine condition. Please see the picture of the boxed dress below, so you'll see exactly what you're getting in the mail. When the dress sells the box will be unsealed and the dress inspected prior to shipping as per Nearly Newlywed policy.

Boxed dress includes my $200 simple, clip-in waltz-length veil and a certificate and guarantee of cleaning and preservation.
