The Dress

I purchased this gown new for my July 2016 wedding. It was my dream dress: it's well constructed, easy to move and dance in, and it photographed beautifully. It has a rose gold sequined bodice with a zipper back and a fully lined almond chiffon skirt.

Included is the matching almond raw silk sash I purchased separately from the designer, the mauve grosgrain ribbon sash that comes with the dress, and the zippered garment bag.

Dress is a bridal size 12 (my street size in dresses is a 6 or 8) and I had the bodice taken in around the bust slightly and the skirt hemmed (I'm 5'9" and wore it with flats). We kept the back longer than the front as in the original construction.

Both dress and sash have been professionally dry-cleaned.

Dress was purchased originally for $1750 CAD + tax and the raw silk sash for $180.

There is a snag/pulled thread in the train of the chiffon layer of the skirt, 5" from the back hem. Not noticeable in a photo.
