I had half the train removed and some of the underskirt lifted to add more volume to the mermaid skirt, but less weight to the overall dress. It also served to ensure my heels did not get caught in the skirt, and others didn't stand on the dress!
It was the absolute perfect dress for our day. Elegant. Chic. Stunning AND comfortable.
