Alterations: The gown label/tag is a 10, street size 8. Minimally altered at the waist (approximately 3/4" larger) and hemmed to wear for me at 5'5" with 4" heels (maximum height 5"9").

Condition: The gown was professionally cleaned and preserved by J. Scheer & Co, NY for $595.  We had a small, low-key afternoon wedding. No stains, the slightly soiled underside of the hem was expertly cleaned to its original state and any beading was repaired or replaced. I see no imperfections to report. This gown was restored to its original state prior to storage and has been in the preservation box until the photo shoot.

What made this dress uniquely special to me was its sophisticated elegance. One, I loved the fit and flow of the gown. It hugged the curves but was still quite comfortable even before the slight alterations. Secondly, the quality was evident in the fabric and embellishments, especially the exquisite embroidery. Finally, it was just the right mix of simplicity, elegance, and comfort! Great reaction coming out of the fitting room. Knew it was the one!
