Made in NYC. 100% Silk Taffeta. Purchased from the Amsale showroom on the UES in 2006 - worn one time - I am the original owner. Preserved with care by J. Scheer & Co- the go-to for preservation in NYC. The dress comes in the preservation box and comes with gloves to remove/handle it. Please feel free to ask me any questions! It's been worn once and looks brand new as JScheer did a fabulous job!
Dress does have a small minor stain under the crystals. I have not tried to spot clean as I don't want to damage it but could be cleaned or covered with a crystal. This small flaw is why it's discounted so heavily- also, it's considered "vintage".
The dress tag is a size 6- but fits more like a true 2-4. Would fit a size 4 like a glove. Size 2 would have option to take it in just in a few places.
