Vera Wang Esther Wedding Gown – Luxe Capsule Collection, Light Ivory #Gossipgirl #BlaireWaldorf

Just GORGEOUS! Truly felt like a million bucks in this classic bridal look that was made famous by Blaire Waldorf in Gossip Girl (her goal was a Grace Kelly inspired look). It's beautifully made with many layers of chantilly lace (the layers give it the most beautiful contract for pictures). There is a built-in corset to make sure everything lays flat and that your stomach snatched in (I would know, turns out I was 2 weeks pregnant at my wedding!). The neckline is tasteful, showing the perfect amount of cleavage. I bought this dress as a Size 6 and altered it to fit a Size 4 (street size). You can easily move in it (I was on the dance floor all night!), it blows out when twirling, and when walking gives a beautiful illusion as you can see from photos above.

Wedding was indoors with some pictures outside in the city (pretty much always held up to protect the hem). Post wedding, dress was re-touched at Vera Wang alterie to make sure the bustle is secure (became loose), and while there, they made sure dress looked as good as new. While not professionally dry cleaned, there are no noticeable stains and was touched up and Vera Wang directly.

This dress includes the horse hair bow (featured on the Vera Wang site and on Gossip Girl), I did not wear it but will include with the dress. I will also include my veil.

This dress was purchased in 2024 and comes with all designer labels and proof of authenticity.
