Vivienne Westwood, Nova Cocotte

This is my Vivienne Westwood Nova Cocotte in 100% pearl silk. It is the most incredible dress and completely deserving of the Vogue "dress of the decade" accolade!

I bought this from the Davies Street boutique and had minor alterations (length and pinning of the bodice) completed at the Westwood atelier. The dress was cleaned at the Vivienne Westwood recommended dry cleaner (Elias Motcomb Street), and is in immaculate condition, there aren't even any marks on the bottom of the hem. I have all of the original packaging (plastic wrap, cotton garment bag, carrier bag) so if you buy this dress it will be just like receiving a new dress from the boutique.

I paid £5,340 for the dress, £280 for alterations, and £395 for dry cleaning, so a total of £6,015. All receipts available on request.

The dress is based in East London (E11) and due to its considerable value, I will only sell to someone who is prepared to collect it from me in person and pay on collection once they have seen the condition / tried it on if desired. I had no alterations done to the fit (see size chart) so I highly recommend going to either the Davies St boutique or Browns Bridal in London to try on in advance so you are sure of your size and that it is this dress that you want. Once I had tried it on there was no going back for me!
