The dress is in very good condition, with a few loose beads that could easily be fixed by a seamstress or even at home. I bought it at an off-the-rack bridal boutique, which means it was still new (never worn) when I got it, but it has been in stores for a while, which likely explains the few loose beads. Other than that, the dress is in mint condition. I chose not to use it for my wedding due to personal style choices and by no fault of the dress.
The dress comes with a panel on the inside of the bodice, which is easily detachable if you are looking for a sheer bodice (the bra padding is separately attached). The back, which is featured in a few of the close-up pictures, uses a zipper to close, but then can be buttoned over to hide the zipper and blend with the beautiful buttons and beading that flow down the length of the train.
No alterations have been made to the dress. I stand at 5'3", which is how I am pictured in the dress, and I am wearing no shoes in the pictures either. There is plenty of fabric in the front so that it may be altered for any height (the length is folded under in the front-facing picture to mimic the length if it had been altered).
The dress would come with a good-quality garment bag, which I purchased from the bridal boutique with the dress.
