This is a vintage Lazaro couture gown (style 3209) that I purchased at Louise Blum in Houston. It’s a dramatic ivory gown with metallic gold embroidery and beading across the bodice, hem, and cathedral-length train. The gold detailing was strikingly unusual when it was designed (2003), and it still feels timeless and regal today.
The dress was worn once and then professionally cleaned and preserved in a museum-quality acid-free box, where it has been stored for the past 22 years. Condition is excellent, with the exception of one small frayed button loop near the zipper (see photo).
• Original retail: approx. $6,000
• Label size: 16 (altered to fit closer to a street size 10–12)
• Silhouette: A-line with cathedral train
• Neckline: Strapless straight-across
• Back: Button detail over hidden zipper
• Preservation: Stored in Prestige Preservation museum-style box
• Cleaning: Professionally cleaned before preservation; I can have it cleaned again before shipping if preferred
This gown has the hallmarks of Lazaro couture — hand embroidery, dramatic lines, and a romantic silhouette that photographs beautifully. It’s a perfect choice if you’re looking for something truly unique that you won’t see in a bridal salon today. Open to offers!
