Ae'lkemi, Custom Made

Ae'lkemi White custom made this dress. The dress is fitted, and lined with a stretchy jersey fabric, the jersey fabric appears from the waste down. The dress is very comfortable, has room to move, dance and sit down easily.

Ae'lkemi sourced the lace from Italy, and has a really nice ratio between skin and fabric in the top half of the dress.

There is scallop detail on the front and back of the dress which adds a nice touch to the edging. This was hand sewn on by Alvin, the designer of Ae'lkemi. Other details include hand-sewn pearl beading, which is seen on the top half/front of the dress, it just adds that extra touch which you can see in the images.

I am 5 foot 7, and the dress has a small trail which sits nicely on the floor and can be seen through the detachable train. The dress trail has a loop to fasten around your finger when dancing, this avoids anyone from standing on the dress. This dress can be altered in length if required.

The dress comes with a detachable 2.6m trail. The back of the trail has clips, which connect to an invisible hook and eye at the back of the dress, its very easy to take it off and on. At the end of the trail, Ae'lkemi has hand sewn a lace edging detail, this is the same lace that is featured on the dress, but Alvin has selected certain sections of the lace to create the effect you see in the images.

I had a 3 metre vail also, and when worn it sits longer than the detachable trail. This is secured with a clip and can be removed easily.

No alterations need to be made on the dress unless you are smaller than me in size. The dress is stretchy, so if you measure slightly bigger than there is room to move a little bit.

There is no flaws on this dress besides a tiny heel whole in the detachable trail. I have contacted Ae'lkemi about this and it can be fixed. The whole is so small, its very hard to locate it.
