I have made the very difficult decision to part with my beautiful wedding dress.
This is the Darcy dress by Made with Love, purchased in 2023 for my wedding. It has since been cleaned professionally, by Made With Love, and is in excellent condition. The Darcy features 3D floral lace, with a capped sleeve and deep V-neck line.
The dress was altered to fit me. I am a size 8 (most of the time), although my hips/bum are sometimes a bit wider than standard 8 (hence the alterations). The dress was (professionally by a Made With Love recommended seamstress) altered by:
- Letting fabric out around the hips
- Taken up very slightly at the shoulders
- Slightly widened the arm holes
- Bustle added (very discreet, can't see it when not in use)
This is an absolutely beautiful dress, surprisingly comfortable on the wedding day and still allowed me to move around and dance in the evening.
