This is a bright ivory, layered organza gown with a draped straight neckline and off-the-shoulder sleeves, worn once for my June 2025 wedding. The fabric is amazingly luminous (I got a lot of “fairy princess” comments, if that’s the vibe you’re after) and the organza pools beautifully on the floor-- elegant, slightly translucent, and unclingy, like water.
The dress is technically an A-line, but I wore it with a hoop skirt underneath-- this created more drama, more ease of movement, and no need for alterations. I was comfortable dancing in this for hours! Without the hoops (pics 1 and 5), it falls in soft, floaty layers; with them (pics 2-4), it transforms into a fuller ball gown silhouette that still moves beautifully and is easier to walk and dance. If you'd like to use the hoops, happy to throw mine in for free. Either way, the dress is comfortable and well-balanced with very supportive internal boning, and it's in great shape and been professionally cleaned.
I fell in love with this dress instantly when I saw the model pics (first pic), and bought it this year at Bonsoire Bridal in Northamptonsire. I didn’t make any structural changes to the dress except for adding a nearly invisible bustle loop for dancing, so it’s essentially in factory condition and has been professionally cleaned. There are, however, a few small imperfections worth flagging:
First, there are some very faint spray tan marks inside the dress (pic 6) that didn’t show up well in photos because they’re so light. No stains on the outside. Second, the top seam of the draping on the bodice came slightly loose (about 2-3 inches) before our ceremony and will need to be stitched back into place-- it would be a very simple fix (pic 7). In the rush to secure it, we made a few emergency stitches that left very minor damage to the outer fabric (pic 8, left). The damage isn’t noticeable when the dress is on. There are also a few tiny bits of debris in the hem from our outdoor ceremony (pic 8, right)-- again, nothing dramatic, but not perfectly pristine. I included a standard guitar pick in those photos for scale.
Overall the dress is in very good condition, inside and out, and it made me feel amazing all day and got loads of compliments well after the wedding. I’d love for it to have a second life. Happy to answer questions, send more photos, or arrange a try-on in London.
