The Chosen by Kyha Davis gown is a modern ballgown with a structured bodice, plunging low back and full skirt, made from duchess satin. I fell in love with its simple, elegant and timeless style. I also loved how light and comfortable the dress felt - it was perfect in the heat and humidity of my tropical wedding.
I paired this with a cathedral-length lace veil, but the gown’s simplicity allows for versatile accessorizing. I also had a second dress for the reception so this was only worn during the ceremony. The dress was recently dry cleaned.

Alterations
- Hemmed to 5'11" height
- Removed some fabric from the sleeves to look more like a portrait neckline rather than off-the-shoulder
- Added push-up cups in the bust (can be easily removed if desired)
- Added boning in the back for additional structure
- Added buttons down the back
- Ballroom bustle (when buttoned up, the train is hidden beneath dress)
