About the Dress

Made to measure custom Esty Style Zoe bodysuit and overskirt.
Purchased from The Veil Collective, Brisbane for my August 2024 wedding.
Hand Made in the Ukraine.

A zip-up corset dress made of matte organza and pleated tulle. The dress is special due to 'marshmallow' sleeves that won't lose their shape during a day. The signature marshmallow sleeves remain a statement feature, while vertical texturing continues to elongate the bodice The soft A-line skirt, beloved for its airy movement, ensures Zoe’s effortless moveability endures. The skirt includes a hook and clasp bustle. I chose to wear the bodice and skirt for the ceremony and formal events during the reception and then opted to change into some pants for comfort for the dancing portion of the evening. It would also look great with a mini skirt.

Size fits 12-14.

I absolutely fell in love with this dress from the moment I put it on. It is romantic, elegant and made me feel very bridal. It was so flattering and comfortable to wear, and I felt so confident on my big day that it looked amazing. I still get comments a year later on how stunning the dress is.

The corset and skirt have been professionally cleaned by a wedding dress specialist and looks as good as new. There was a small hole in the mesh lining of the bodice that has been repaired but is slightly visible due to the delicate nature of the mesh lining (shown in photos). This marshmallow sleeves should cover this when wearing though, price is reflective of this.

Dixie is a beautiful modern style available a half width circle cut and is edged with our 1-inch crinoline which gives it a lovely whimsical style. Comb attachment.

Alterations

Alterations:
I had the skirt altered by Kim Marcell, Brisbane. The dress has been hemmed at the front only, and slightly at the back to shorten the length of the train. The lining has been cut to one length as there was many layers and it became twisted in the train of the dress and didn’t allow for the flowy movement. A hook and clasp bustle has been added seamlessly on the inside of the back waistband of the skirt, and the hem to allow to pick it up.
