About the Dress

Selling this beautiful gown which I didn't end up wearing to my wedding! Condition is new, never worn, tags still attached. I changed my mind and wore a lighter dress which worked a lot better for our outdoor reception on a hot sunny day. This one is really charming and I hope another bride will wear it and love it! //DETAILS Clean, minimalist Mikado ball gown with a princess-cut skirt and sweetheart neckline. Several layers of tulle underneath the satin to give it puffiness (and you could remove some if you wanted it to sit more flat). Mikado is a beautiful satin - has a nice, subtle sheen and texture to it. Colour is winter white - would suit most skin tones, and it worked well on my olive skin (it's not got that yellow creamy undertone, but hasn't got a blue undertone either - quite neutral). Bodice has been altered to fit a size 6-8 bust, but could be taken out if needed, as the material hasn't been cut away in the seams. Has an internal bra strap and hidden zipper covered in buttons to hold you in tight - it's got good structure so you won't be pulling it up or feeling like it's falling down. I also really liked how the bodice beautifully highlights your waist while the skirt hides your hips! No shapewear needed, and you can eat as much as you want and just enjoy your night! Hem hasn't been touched. Huge beautiful train that you can bustle or shorten. Has pockets! Forgot to show these in the video, but they are hidden neatly in the skirt. Button detailing all the way down the back from bra line to hemline. So elegant. I have included a close up pic of the buttons and have some spares in case any fall off. Includes detachable cap sleeves which could be cute for a second look! They can easily be attached or removed with little hidden press buttons. //INTERESTED?
