About the Dress
Crafted in luxurious Organdy Jacquard (also referred to as Luxe Organdy), this gown features a strapless scoop neckline and a fully-lined bodice with vertical contouring seams that beautifully accentuate the figure. The romantic Basque waistline adds a timeless, flattering touch, while the lace-up back offers an elegant nod to old-world charm. The dress was not worn for the reception, so it experienced minimal wear—no dancing, spills, or long hours on the dance floor. It has been professionally cleaned and is in excellent condition.
Alterations
The dress was professionally hemmed to fit a height of 5'6" (with shoes). Lightly padded cups were added for a more structured bust fit, and the back corset was taken in slightly for a snug, flattering silhouette. Detachable straps were added for comfort and ease of movement during dancing later in the evening. A bustle was also added for convenience during the reception.
