About the Dress

A truly iconic piece from Vivienne Westwood’s bridal collection: this Cocotte gown in ivory silk cady was purchased in 2025 from the Vivienne Westwood Davies Street bridal flagship in London.

The dress was only worn for approximately 5 hours and was professionally dry cleaned by a high-end specialist immediately after the event (at significant cost), this gown is ready to ship with all the original packaging, is in excellent condition and ready for someone else to enjoy.

Alterations

Originally a UK10, it was expertly altered in-house by the Vivienne Westwood atelier to fit more like a UK8–10 on the corset for a cinched look. The draping was discreetly tacked to reveal more of the corset’s structure, and the hem was shortened by 6cm (for reference, I am 5'6” and was wearing a 4 inch heel on the day).
