Rue De Seine, Ash Gown

I fell in love with the Ash Gown from Rue De Seine the first time I saw it. By the time I got married in 2023, it had been discontinued, so I spent months tracking down a second-hand one in my size (6) and finally imported this one from New Zealand.
I was the third bride to wear this dress, so there are clear signs of use. There are some pulls on the lace, but it still looks stunning and luxurious, as the lace is of very high quality (it is made in-house by Rue De Seine). The bodice does not have as much structure as it had when new, but this could be reinforced by a tailor. I also took out the bust pads, which a tailor could customise to fit perfectly. The original RRP for this dress was circa £3,000, so it is still excellent value, even if it requires a few tweaks (most wedding dresses do).
The dress is off-white/ivory, but looks white when worn. The detacheable sleeves are adorable and add a romantic, bohemian touch.
It is the perfect dress for a summer outdoor wedding. I got a huge amount of complements when wearing the dress and few of the gusts (mostly men) said it was the most beautiful dress they've ever seen!
