About the Dress

I wore this dress at my wedding in spring 2023 and loved it. I looked for months for the right dress with a clean and classic silhouette and was so happy I found this one! I am typically a size 8-10 in dresses with an athletic build and broad shoulders. The dress was ordered in a size 10 with alterations made mostly to take in the dress in at the hips and add faux pearl buttons over the back zipper, with other small changes as described. A few hidden ribbons and a hook and eye closure under the dress were added to pull the train into a French bustle for the reception, as shown in my pictures. The dress was comfortable, easy to walk and dance in, and flattering with medium support shapewear shorts underneath. Alterations

Easily removable padded cups added, and the dress was taken in at the hips and the straps were slightly shortened. We added faux pearl buttons down the zipper line on the back of the dress, and a few sets of hidden short ribbons and a hook and eye closure under the dress to pull the train into a French bustle
