This was a massive puffy Vera Wang White ballgown. I got it chopped in half by a seamstress to look like a vintage 1950's tea length ballgown to use for my rehearsal. I paired it with a cropped, vintage Angora sweater and some cowboy booties and had exactly the look I wanted. I have since gotten it dry cleaned. There are no spots or flaws on it. It would look amazing for a vintage themed wedding. It is best suited for a long torso. I have a long torso and you can see that the corset top still hit past my hips. (I am 5'10.) The top is ruched satin with fake satin buttons on the back and a zipper behind. The front is a corset top with thick lining and padded cups. The dress was actually about 1 size too large for me, but I just wore a thick gel sticky bra inside the cups to take up the extra room. I probably had about an inch to spare in the rib/waist portion of the dress as well but I didn't want to alter a rehearsal dress.
My stats: 5'10, 180 lbs, street size 8-10. I think this dress would fit a street size 12-14 best.
