Vagabond Aquarius dress purchased and worn in 2024. I tried to have the dress dry cleaned but the cleaner was hesitant about damaging the shine on the satin so only did a gentle cleaning. There are some remaining marks on the hem of the dress and a mark on the back side of one strap (pictures included). I am 5'11" and wore 3" heels so the unless you are equally tall standard hemming would removed the damaged 2-3" of fabric leaving you with a pristine hem.
Aside from taking in the straps and adding hooks for bustling the train, no other alterations were made. This is essentially an off the rack size 10. Just needs a good steaming!
I love this dress because it is so elegant and timeless and know it will flatter the body type of so many different women. Did I mention it has pockets! Hope this dress helps you feel as beautiful on your special day as it did me.
