About the Dress
Silk slip dress with hidden interior corset for structure and support, as well as a cowl neckline and plunging back with ruched detail. This is such a sleek, elegant and flattering gown! The material is buttery soft and light-weight, which made it simply the most comfortable wedding dress I had tried on, and was able to wear it all day and night without a second thought. It was dry cleaned immediately the day after the wedding and looks as good as new!
My Jane gown is a custom design made to order, as I was not a fan of the horizontal seam halfway down the thigh that is a feature of the original dress. The seam was therefore moved to the bottom and the skirt is more similar to the Celia gown from the same designer.
Alterations
Spaghetti straps have slightly shortened and moved inwards to avoid slipping off the shoulders. The cowl neck has been adjusted to be less revealing especially when bending over. A finger loop has been added to the train to easily hold it up when walking and dancing around.
