As a reinterpretation of the iconic ‘Bird of Paradise’ dress, which originally appeared in the Spring-Summer 2005 Gold Label show – Ultra Femininity, the Tabitha encapsulates the grandeur of the Baroque age. The layering of drapes in the upper part of the gown flows into a delicately bias-cut circle skirt revealing a side slit, remaining faithful to Vivienne’s approach of celebrating femininity.

This gorgeous Vivienne Westwood gown is part of the new 2025 collection. Purchased in October 2024 in the flagship store in London in the Silk Faille fabric which is incredibly light-weight.

Comes with original VW garment bag and hanger.

Professionally cleaned but there are some minor stains on the interior lining. These are not visible with the gown on. They can easily be hemmed to be removed entirely.

My seamstress found the exact fabric (Ivory Silk Faille) of the dress to add the bow detail on the sleeve as this was not an option at the time of purchase
I will be keeping these bows as a momento, so there are 2 stitches under each bow (total of 2 bows)
