Suzanne Neville, Penny

Suzanne Neville ‘Penny’ wedding dress, I knew this was the one for me as soon as I tried it on. I love to think of it making someone else feel how it made me feel.

Purchased from Frances Day Bridal in Nottinghamshire. The dress is a Suzanne Neville size 14. I was between a 14-16 U.K. standard size and felt very comfortable.

There is corsetry inside the bodice means it is very adaptable for size of waist, it really pulls in.

I am 5ft5 so the length has been altered so could be made shorter still. I left quite a lot of length in it as I prefer long. The dress is made from silk mikado so it has some texture!

There are pockets in the skirt (which is a game changer for the lipstick and tissue) and has a gorgeous leg split which I have had elastic added near the top of my thigh for modesty but this could easily be removed. The waist belt comes with the dress but I chose not to wear it.

I have had the dress professionally dry cleaned. Will arrive in a sturdy white presentation box with tissue wrap. There is hardly any wear or discolouration just slightly under the train and will require a steam to get a few creases out from being folded.
