About the Dress

The Alice Dress (Look 3) by Frahn Bridal was the dress of my dreams. Worn for approx 5 hours for my reception, it would also be suitable as a ceremony dress (or both!)

Originally bought from Sunday Eve in a size 10 at their recommendation, I had it altered down to more of a size 8 (I’m usually a very standard size 8). I’m 165cm and wore 7cm heels. I had the straps of the halter taken in about an inch as they were too long around my neck.

Made from Italian Mikado fabric, the dress comes in three parts: the dress, the waist band and the bow that can be tied into the waist band. You can see in some of the photos I originally didn’t have the bow attached and then later in the night I tied in the bow.

Dry cleaned by professional bridal and formal wear dry cleaners, there are only the most faint signs of wear at the hem which would be completely removed if hemmed.
