The stunning Stargazer dress by boutique Melbourne Australia designer Cherie By Oui the label was the an absolute dream for my wedding day. As much as I want to keep it forever I'm excited to pass it on to another bride to feel as beautiful as I did. There is nothing like this dress anywhere on the market and it was simply stunning and perfect.

I loved the elegant but slim A-line silhouette which is so feminine but doesn't puff out at the waist the way some other A-Lines. I think its beautifully slimming and classic. The captivating one-shoulder neckline adds an element of modern chic and stands out beautifully in photos. The fabric is lace-like but has some subtle metallic sewn in. It's simply stunning in pictures. The designer describes this dress as goddess-style, red-carpet-worthy gown and that was very true.

Worn once for our private elopement ceremony and dinner in the Bahamas and then professionally cleaned.

Alterations

Dress was hemmed to height for approx
5'8" (I am 5'5 and wore 3" heels")
I added a hidden pull thru loop to hold the train
Additionally, I added a single button back bustle to lift the train for dinner which is well hidden in the hem and has a hidden mini loop to attach it
I added one invisible layer of nude under the bodice top as it was a bit see-thru
Lastly, my seamstress modified the arc of the neckline ever so slightly higher where it reaches the left armpit area and didn't sit so low which looked much better
My seamstress says any good seamstress could undo the neckline change easily if you prefer the slightly sharper angle

No alterations to the sizing have been done but of course easily could be
This is an Australian 12 which fit like a size comfortable 6 dress in the United States
