Vivienne Westwood Nova Cocotte dress with custom removable overskirt inspired by the Vivienne Westwood Moonlight dress which retails at $34,000 (as seen on Rebecca Ferguson). The custom overskirt was made by a local designer so does not have the VW label, however the dress itself is VW and has labels attached.

I wore this dress for my 2024 wedding. The overskirt was worn for the ceremony and then taken off for the dinner. I changed into another dress before the dancing so this was only worn for a few hours and not danced in.

Overskirt:
The overskirt is made out of 100% silk crepe backed fabric. It features draping and a knot inspired by greek and Italian statues. Features a longer train than the main dress and hidden strap to hold up when walking.

Dress:
The Nova Cocotte is a gown with great historical influence, first designed for the Autumn-Winter 2005/06 Vive La Cocotte collection. The corset and neckline are inspired by fashionable high society women of the 18th-century – which sweeps across the shoulders and cinches at the waist. The skirt falls from the hip in a soft slim A-line, folding and flowing delicately to create a drape reminiscent of ancient Greek statues.  In a pearl white heavy 100% silk satin fabric. Hidden bustle added. There are a few pulls in the silk on the dress, but very small (about 1-2mm) and only can be seen if examining up close. Small (aprox 4mm) makeup stain under one of the folds (only can see if lifted).
