This dress is an absolute dream, I felt so beautiful in it. It has a classic plunge sweetheart neckline and a gorgeous draped corset bodice that really accentuates the waist with a flattering Basque waistline. The A-line shape is so elegant, and the full skirt with the high slit adds a little touch. We actually had the slit lowered so it didn’t show too much leg, but it still gave me plenty of comfort when walking and dancing. The corset on the inside keeps everything in place without restricting my breathing at all. Plus, the Mikado fabric photographs so beautifully — it really catches the light in the most stunning way.

The original dress was bigger than my size, so I spent $750 getting it tailored perfectly
We made sure the bust was comfortable enough to dance without a bra, and the waist was cinched to shape but still gave me room to move
The length was adjusted to just cover my feet when I stood at the aisle, and the slit was made so it gave me some freedom to move, but it disappeared when I stood still because of the fullness of the dress
