My wedding dress is a beautiful, Victorian-inspired, satin sheath dress, but I cannot find a designer or Mfg. Label. It was a full page feature ad in one of the 1989 Wedding magazines and I shopped until I found it in a bridal store. It was only worn once, has been professionally dry cleaned, restored and packed and has not been opened until today, when I took the pictures.
The sheath is made of Eggshell satin, with a lace covered bodice, adorned with tiny pearls and sequins that have been hand stitched to the gown (not glued - see photo). There is a zipper in the back. The back of the skirt is split to the knee for mobility. The dress has a detachable train that connects via elastic loops and satin covered buttons. There is a large bow in the back to cover where the train attaches.
The skirt and train are plain satin, with only lace trim at the hemline. I am 6' tall and my wedding was in February. This dress was made for a winter wedding! I carried a fox fur muff instead of a bouquet (which I still have and am willing to sell) and my bridesmaids were in crimson velvet tea length dresses.
I was planning to attach my wedding picture, but the contrast didn't really highlight the dress. I will be happy to share more photos if asked!
