This is the most sensational dress and did something to my body that no other dress will. It's so beautifully flattering.

The Galaxy Cape dress, takes inspiration from the classic archive Ball Tie style, complete with an 18th-century Watteau style detachable cape which echoes the bodice drape, for added drama. 

The gown is made from pearl white FSC-certified crepe satin, with a contrasting organic silk georgette drape across the décolletage. It comes with a detachable 18th-century Watteau style train in silk georgette.

Bought this beautiful dress in the London couture Vivienne Westwood store, it was made to order in their UK size 10. No alterations have been made.

Immediately after the wedding the dress was shipped back to London to be dry cleaned by the Westwood approved dry cleaners.

There is slight textural change to the satin on a small area on the right hand side of the corset due to dry cleaning. This is not a stain and can only be seen in certain light.

There are two minor / light marks on the inside bottom hem of the dress. These are inside the dress and cannot be seen when worn, even when looked at are very minor both visually and in size.

The dress will come with the original dust bag / hanger and store bag given when purchased.

The cape comes with the dress (see last picture) the cape is detachable with buttons and was barely worn on the wedding day due to wearing a fuller veil. The cape has also been dry cleaned. The cape is in crepe.

Sizes listed below are the sizes taken of myself at the time of purchase, since the measurements were taken I did loose 5-7 Lbs and the dress still fitted perfectly.

10cm down from waist 88cm
20cm down from waist 99cm (20cm down is usually the standard hip measurement position)
Widest point 105cm

Please note after the dry cleaning the dress has pinched in so would fit someone either the same or a few cm smaller than the sizes listed above.
