About the Dress

This exquisite Ines Di Santo Quice gown is the epitome of elegance and romance, and it shaped the most magical day of my life. This strapless ballgown features a beautifully curved neckline that enhances your natural beauty while providing a timeless silhouette. Made from luxurious ivory satin, the fabric is VERY LIGHT (even for a Texas summer wedding) and the gown flows effortlessly to the floor over layers of crinoline which gives it it's ball gown shape.

The low back and corset style top adds a subtly sexy touch. Purchased as a size 6, this dress was tailored through the waist to be a true size 0 and hugs the waist beautifully while ensuring comfort and grace. The layers of the gown add volume and drama.

Alterations

Alterations in top corset area of dress alone bustling and waist to bring in sizing from a Label 4/6 to a true size 0. The corset was altered to fit a 35" Bust with a size B cup. The waist was altered to also fit a 27" waist. The front hem was brought up as a bubble hem (with fabric preserved about 2" to be let out if needed) for a height of 5'1. The back or side hems were not adjusted. The nude mesh fabric in the middle of the corset top was replaced with a slightly more durable and elastic style mesh. The underskirt crinoline is permanent attached and we added a significant bustle system to be able to preserve the ability to have the underskirt while bustled as a ball gown bustle with multiple (6 -8 total) interior buttons under the skirt itself.
