Stunning and elegant wedding dress. Simple enough to allow for statement earrings, but unique enough to turn heads. I really wanted a silk or satin dress that maybe wasn't as distracting as some of the bigger options, and that allowed by own beauty to shine too. This dress is silk wool, so has the simple and elegant look of silk but the durability of wool. The train was out for the ceremony only and then kept up in the bustle for the rest of the night. Marks from the floor on the train were all expertly removed through a multi-step professional dry cleaning process. Features on this dress that did not come in the factory-made item but I really appreciated by way of my tailor:
Ballroom bustle (ties and loops are color-coded, one of the ties is missing but could easily be replaced by a tailor) - train is invisible when fully assembled
Grip-lining placed on the shoulder so the shoulders/sleeves didn't fall down all night despite many hugs, toasts, and dancing - not visible from the outside, no added bulk
