About the Dress

Stunning and comfortable long sleeve plunge neckline gown with vintage-inspired intricate beading. The slim A-line silhouette, waist-defining beading, and v-neck back are very flattering. I wore this dress without a bra - something I never thought I'd be able to do, it is seriously supportive! Deep V neckline has mesh panel and felt very secure. Lace is beautifully beaded in a vintage pattern throughout the gown. Ivory color with sand nude lining. Perfect for a fall or winter wedding, though I was comfortable in it for my June wedding.

Purchased from Brides by Young in New Jersey in April 2024. This gown is the Etta model by Chic Nostalgia, with custom modifications for the Brides by Young boutique - very unique! Worn once for a wedding in June 2024, professionally dry-cleaned and safely stored afterwards in smoke-free, dog-friendly home.

Alterations

The dress originally had puff shoulders which were altered to lay flat. The dress length was altered to fit my 5'9" frame with flats on, preserving the beautiful scalloped bottom lace border. Added snaps to create a ballroom bustle where the train of the dress goes underneath the skirt, creating a seamless bottom edge for easy movement and dancing without hiding the beautiful lace on the back of the dress. No other alterations were made to the bust, waist, or hips of the gown.
