Hope you are getting excited for your upcoming wedding! For sale is the stunning Galia Lahav Remi dress, based within the UK. Can collect from North West/Midlands

It is a form fitting, beaded lace fit and flare/mermaid dress with a long train, high neck collar, tailored sleeves and a keyhole open back which looks amazing in photos. The overlay is heavily beaded with a bodysuit underneath. The quality of the appliqué and beading was incomparable compared to the other dresses I tried on. The material has two layers, one nude and one ivory so suits most skin tones.

All the essential alterations costing over £400 have been done to make the dress fit like a glove. Comes with GL dustbag and hanger. I will also include the £100 travel box I purchased which can be used to store the dress or for hand luggage travel (compliant with airline size restrictions). There was also a tiny bit of spare material I made a hair tie with but didn’t use – happy to include this as a keepsake. Also selling my shoes Freya Rose Monica in UK5 with mother of pearl heel, and a mother of pearl clutch.

Condition: Worn once, absolutely excellent condition and properly cleaned, no obvious defects as I lifted the train over my arm for the evening

Size: GL Bridal size UK 10 - I am a size 8 but they say to size up, it’s got room to stretch due to the material used

Alterations

Alterations:
For carrying the train - 3 point bow fold under bustle AND wrist strap (depending on your preference)
Length - Trimming of the front only; I am 5ft65/168cm + 4inch/10cm heels, therefore the dress is about 178cm long (so could fit taller or short based on your heel height)
Sleeves - Galia dresses are typically made for tall supermodels and the original sleeves reflected this! The sleeves have been shortened and fitted but are still longer than my 5ft6 arm span (see pics)
Bodice – as the dress was designed for tall women, the ‘V’ of the applique sits a little low (drop waist), fitting of the shoulders and sides, with 2 appliques added allows the dress to fit perfectly without ruching of the material and sit directly at the waist giving a more slimming effect
