This dress is the iconic Vivienne Westwood Long Cocotte dress with the detachable Diva Train (each their own piece for purchase, I purchased both). I wore the two together for the ceremony and removed the skirt for dinner and our first dance.
This dress is timeless and felt like a dream. If you are a fan of Vivienne Westwood this is one of her original designs (before her passing) and is now harder to come by/ carried in fewer places. Please see the Vivienne Westwood Description below and don't hesitate with any questions.
Vivienne Westwood Description: The iconic Long Cocotte is a gown with great historical influence. The corset and neckline are inspired by fashionable high society women of the 18th century and the fabric, which sweeps across the shoulders, drapes, and falls from the hip, is reminiscent of ancient Greek statues. The Long Cocotte can be styled with the Diva train (also ivory and as pictured)

Alterations
- Size Uk 8 was ordered and when it arrived the waist was a bit too big, so I had it altered to about the equivalent of a UK 6
- Slight alterations were also made on the off the shoulder fabric, the seamstress created gathering for a layered folded feel, you can take these out easily if you want the off the shoulder flap to hang down more or lay flatter
- Also, the length of the dress was altered
- For reference, I am 5'5" and wore 4.5 inch heels
- The way it was hemmed you could shorten it further or lengthen it a bit
