Often imitated but never duplicated, nothing compares to the Vivienne Westwood Galaxy Cape gown. Trust me, I went to every major bridal designer and salon in NYC, trying on over 50 dresses total.

I upgraded my dress to heavy silk satin (also seen on Georgia Fowler) as opposed to the crepe/chiffon sample you will see in stores. The detachable Watteau train is the same material as the dress. This makes for a luxe, fashion forward look. This style, in color, has also been donned on the red carpet by Jessica Chastain, Claire Foy, and Alisha Boe.

The dress has been impeccably dry cleaned with only a few, tiny discolorations at the hem. With the natural fluidity of the dress you can hardly notice. The bustle may need to be re-tacked by a seamstress because I had too much fun at my wedding :)

I would be thrilled to see this fabulous dress find a new home. It's so versatile and can fit rustic, modern, and traditional wedding visions alike.
