About the Dress

The most stunning dress, the Paola gown, bought in Melbourne from the Lola Varma showroom. I wore this to my wedding in May 2024. I adore this dress, it is so unique and classic. It comes in two pieces. The Vincent slip dress in 100% silk with thin straps, slit at the back and a concealed zip. The Paola overlay is a sheer organza silk with high neckline, slight train like trail at the back. Both pieces have a stunning low back. You can wear both to the ceremony and take the outer layer off to enjoy the party! There are some signs of wear and marks on the train of the overlay due to it being such a delicate material. These are not overly noticeable when on. Images included. Vincent slip is in perfect used condition with no obvious signs of wear. Both have been professionally dry cleaned at a bridal dry cleaner.

Alterations

The overlay is Lola Varma size 10, and has not been taken in. The small ties at the back were removed and replaced with a hook and eye. I will include the ties should you wish to add back on. The Vincent slip was taken in slightly, measurements above. No material was removed, so could be unpicked back to a size 10 if needed.
