Colette is a dress that is part of Rivini`s Spring 2023 collection by Rita Vinieris, a Canadian designer. It is a unique vision of couture level craftsmanship combined with an elegant and classic look. It was the first dress I ever tried on and felt in love with. Of course, I tried many more after but this was the one my mind kept coming back to. The dream dress! :) At first sight it looks big and heavy but in fact it is extremely light and comfortable! I would have not gone for it otherwise. The fabric is a unique hand printed silk organza (floral print) with velvet ribbon detail corset bodice. I purchased the dress together with the detachable pleated organza floral sleeves which add another level of modern to the classic look and make the design look it just came out of the runway. They are easy to put on and off. I wore them just for a short period of time, mostly during the cocktail hour and for some cool pictures. The color of the dress is ivory but there is an ever romantic contrast between it and the white print of the flowers - just beautiful. The dress is strapless but the corset holds everything in place very comfortably. If desired you can easily add some elegant velvet spaghetti straps for more support.

The dress has been professionally cleaned at cleaners specializing in wedding gown cleaning, using only the best solutions to preserve the fabric and the look of the dress.

I had the best day of my life feeling extremely beautiful in this gown. It is very hard to part with it, but I would rather it make someone else as happy as it made me, instead of just sitting in my closet. The dress is truly one of a kind - elegant, classic, romantic, and so comfortable.
