But this reference to a well-loved bridal motif is offset by Charlie’s plunging lace-lined back and the lace godet which accents the modern mermaid skirt. Charlie was designed for brides of all shapes and sizes. For brides wearing size 16+, the LAUDAE designers added extra boning in the bodice and extra height at the back for greater comfort and support. They also redesigned the fit through the hips and waist to hug curvier frames.
