I purchased this dress new online thinking it was a smaller size than it actually was.
I am a US size 4 in regular clothes.
This dress was a US size 12.
I have had it altered in the bodice only to fit me. The skirt was not altered or shortened or taken in.
I have C cup and my measurements are [removed].
The seamstress did not cut out any material, which means it can be taken out back to a size 12. She told me that it can be taken out back to the original size.
I did not wear the dress and wore a different one instead.
The tags are still on. It’s in perfect condition.
The color is light ivory. It is much lighter than the way it looks in the professional photos. The bodice is technically sheer, but it is heavily beaded, and there are cups inside.
The bottom has “horsehair” which is great because it always looks perfectly weighted down.
I actually love this dress. The placement of the lace going down the skirt is perfection.
The bodice has very intricate bead work and is not just lace.
The zipper in the back has pearls on going down to hide the zipper, which is so pretty.
