Jason Grech White, Ray of Light

This is a custom dress by Jason Grech White, an award winning Melbourne-based couture designer.

There are intricate hand-sewn fabric flowers with Swarovski crystal beading and handstitched italian lacework on the bodice which lies over a lined beige corset that has concealed metal hook closures and zips at the back.

The italian ponte knit skirt below is a flowing, crease resistant and stretchable jersey fabric which moves like silk but hugs your figure firmly then flares naturally at the knee into soft folds. It has a short train which bustles onto a discreet button behind the waist. Walking and moving in this dress felt wonderful for the whole day!

I chose to wear a removable caped veil (included) which attaches by safety pin to the top sleeves with sequined detail to match the waist beading. The dress can be worn with the lace sleeves or off-the-shoulder, as they sit nicely either way.

I am 159 cm tall and wore 9cm heels on the day, which raised the dress just slightly above the ground when bustled.

There are minor dust marks inside the dress hem from being worn, not visible from the outside. It has been drycleaned after the wedding.
